• always carry a drink with you. can be water, fun drink, mood alteration drink. try for water usually.
• remember that most people don't care enough about you to judge you in a way that matters or reflects reality.
• get a pocket knife whose design you like and you'll be more likely to bring it everywhere.
• finding the perfect pen, ballpoint, fountain, gel, felt tip - it will change your life and your relationship with writing even little things. try a sampler from jetpens.
• to-do lists can help the right kind of person. are you that kind of person?
• it often really does hurt to get better.
• cooking and cleaning are learned, practiced skills - like muscles. a cleaner space means a less cluttered mind.
• humans need to make music or art to live. in addition, we need food, water, sleep, shelter, and kind company.
• good tools will make you feel good about your hobby/art/job. invest in brands that last.
• if you need that treat but can put it off, try putting it off until tomorrrow to see if you can save money (for your next treat)
• ask for work/school accomodations if you need them! this stunted my academic career something terrible.
